Gator Software

GatorOne. Built for the way you actually work.

From plate setup to presentation-ready report, GatorOne gives you a complete BLI workflow without the friction. Import sample info from Excel. Run any kinetic model you need. Analyze epitope binning matrices with tools built for screening campaigns. Export results that hold up to scrutiny.

Recent releases have added a lot. Here’s what matters.

Set up assays without retyping anything

Import and export sample information and plate maps directly through Excel for Quantitation, Kinetics, and Epitope Binning. Set up a 96 or 384-well plate in seconds, not minutes. Color-coded plate maps export with sample names and step types so pipetting at the bench is straightforward.

Nested folders in Assay Setup automatically sync to Results and Analysis, so your data stays organized from start to finish. No more hunting for files across separate trees.

Every kinetic model you need

GatorOne supports the full set of binding models for biomolecular interactions:

  • 1:1 Analyte to Ligand
  • 2:1
  • 1:2
  • Mass Transport
  • Two-State

The Two-State model lets you enable or disable individual fit components, so you can analyze each binding phase independently or combined. Useful when you’re trying to understand conformational changes or two-step binding events.

Curve fitting you can defend

Kinetic constants only matter if they’re reliable. The fitting algorithms in GatorOne now handle the hard cases.

Fast-rate curves. Calculations are constrained within a defined confidence range, giving you stable, consistent results on rapid kinetics that used to push fitting algorithms to non-physical outputs.

Weak binders and small molecules. Linear and near-linear curves are managed with controlled limits, avoiding infinite or nonsensical values when the data simply doesn’t have enough information to pin down a rate.

Global fitting with data screening. Poorly fitting datasets are automatically flagged and filtered, so a single bad well doesn’t corrupt your global fit.

Legacy fitting preserved. Original fitting methods stay available, so you can run direct comparisons against historical data and transition on your own timeline.

Epitope binning, properly visualized

Epitope binning is where most BLI screens earn their keep. GatorOne now gives you the tools to make sense of large matrices.

Network Chart. Group samples that target the same epitope and see blocking relationships at a glance. Solid lines for mutual blocking, dashed for one-way, none for non-blocking.

Bin Chart. Categorized view of how a library distributes across binding sites. Useful when you need to summarize a campaign for a project meeting.

Heat Map. Color-coded view of every interaction in the dataset. Pattern recognition becomes effortless.

Matrix transformations. Subtract or normalize against any row or column reference. Manually exclude outliers. Toggle unidirectional binding events on or off for a cleaner view of confirmed bidirectional interactions.

Adjustable Association2 threshold. Use the interactive slider to dial in your blocking threshold rather than guessing at a value.

Analyze at screening scale

Combine 10, 50, or up to 128 Kinetics or Epitope Binning files into a single report for batch analysis. Mix and match files from different days, different plates, different operators.

In Kinetics analysis, multi-select grouping and color-coding let you organize large datasets in seconds. Results display by user-defined groups in Overview mode, so you can compare sample sets side by side.

Customize result table columns and save your column order globally across all kinetic analyses.

Reports that look the way you want them to

Reports display the source file location for every result

  • Apply Fixed Axis to keep customized graph dimensions and scales consistent from screen to exported report
  • Choose your preferred image format for exported figures
  • Default report names combine Assay Name and Timestamp for traceability
  • Kinetic data exports in scientific notation for readability

21 CFR Part 11 ready

For regulated environments, the GatorOne CFR Part 11 package supports stringent requirements with confidence. Every entry is time stamped and fully traceable. Audit trails and recorded user sessions align with FDA guidance to safeguard your digital records.

If you’re moving BLI from discovery into development, manufacturing QC, or biosimilar characterization, GatorOne is built to come with you.

The Gator has been a staple in our lab for six years. Its intuitive software, reliable data, and excellent value set it apart from Biacore and Octet. Ideal for quantitative antibody screening, affinity, and epitope analysis, its wide range of probes provides the flexibility needed for diverse experiments.
